A book with a collection of interviews and quotes from Kawakubo Rei. 

 All of the text is from the book ‘Interviews from Rei Kawakubo: Comme des Garçons: Art of the In-Between’, written by Andrew Bolton and published by Metropolitan Museum of Art (New York, N.Y.).

    Rei Kawakubo's design philosophy, which embraces the beauty of imbalance, asymmetry, and the unfinished, has always inspired me. This project was initiated out of my respect for Rei Kawakubo's stories and design philosophy. I drew inspiration from the Comme des Garçons No. 2 perfume logo. Using its line drawing as a basis, I sketched a question mark on the front of the page. Reflecting Kawakubo's frequent discussions about the circle, I incorporated the circle as the main element throughout the book.
